A walk back in time to how sweet shops used to be!

A love of steam rallies, fairgrounds and the preservation of our heritage, with a pinch of sweet memories, was the recipe for Chobbles.

My husband Andy and I, along with our five children Ben, Tom, Sam, Joel and Will, have spent years soaking up the atmosphere of the past whilst working the rally fields of the UK. We always dreamt of moving to Pembrokeshire and I had always wanted to run my own business. I knew doing this would remove us from our world of "Old Glory"and nostalgia.

Whilst living in Lincolnshire we found "Goodies" - an old fashioned sweet shop run by our now valued friend Neil Perkins. Frequently visiting Goodies with numerous visitors eager to experience the past, our childhood memories always came flooding back.

I always thought what a wonderful little shop, I wish it was mine. From that thought and the benefit of Neil's hard work and encouragement - we built Chobbles. Our motto being "Experience the Past - Taste the Memories "

It is lovely to see our customers find their memories amongst the jars of sweets, old enamel signs and wartime fixtures.
The old bakelite radio helps to add to the atmosphere. Glenn Miller, Gracie Fields and George Formby all perform here along with many dance bands of the 30s and 40s and the shop is enjoyed by many, young and old.
